I once sold a domain for $100, what's the most you've ever made from a domain only sale and where did you make the sale.  I made mine on Digitalpoint forums, I put it up for auction and the final bid got to $120 but the winner backed out and i sold it to ther guy in 2nd place!

I bought movie-wallpapers.com for $250 3 years ago :) total bargain. Never actually sold one to be quite honest.

Personally I don't think there's much money left in domaining ...

I successfully sold one of my sites a few years back for $500. That included all the pre-made plr products and the domain. Not too bad.

Selling domains can be a way to generate income or profit. Here are a few key points to consider:

1. Pricing: Setting the right price for your domain is crucial. Factors like domain length, keyword relevance, brandability, and market demand can influence its value. Research similar sales and use online valuation tools to help you determine a reasonable price.

2. Marketplaces: There are several online marketplaces dedicated to domain sales. Popular platforms include Sedo, GoDaddy Auctions, Flippa, Namecheap Marketplace, and Afternic. These platforms provide a marketplace where you can list your domain for sale, negotiate offers, and complete transactions.

3. Auctions: Participating in domain auctions can be an effective way to maximize the value of your domain. Auctions can generate competition among interested buyers, potentially leading to higher prices. Some marketplaces offer both public auctions and private auctions, allowing you to choose the method that suits you best.

4. Negotiation and Transfer: Once you have a potential buyer, negotiations regarding price and transfer details will take place. You may need to use an escrow service to ensure a secure transaction, especially for high-value domains. The transfer process typically involves unlocking the domain, providing authorization codes, and updating registration information.

5. Marketing: Promoting your domain can help attract potential buyers. Consider leveraging social media, online forums, industry-specific websites, and email marketing to reach your target audience. Additionally, having a well-crafted sales page or website showcasing the domain's potential can also enhance its appeal.

most I've made on 1 domain just over 1,500, but I usually look for quick sales just to dump stuff and most of my domains are from hosting customers that sell me stuff cheap that they no longer wan't. Biggest lose a few bucks here and there but others make up for it. Every domain I have bought & sold I have made my money back.
