I got my domain name for free since wordpress will suggest a domain once you type in a keyword.

Each site needs an area name to be facilitated on the web. You can either purchase a fresh out of the plastic new space name or buy one that been enrolled for some time.

With 1&1 promo, you just have only 1 chance to get 99 cent domain. Then if you want to buy more, you need create new account to do that. Because they limit each domain per account.

Good luck to you,

Buying a new domain name would typically cost you anywhere between $9 and $14.99 per year. However, these prices may differ based on the domain extension or the domain registrar you choose. If you are starting a new website, then we recommend using Bluehost. They are one of the top web hosting companies in the world.

This is an older post. However now .com domain is available for approximately $12.58 per year. This is the price at some popular domain registrars.

The amount you'd pay for a domain name depends on its value, purpose, and your budget. A standard domain might cost $10–$50 annually, while premium or highly sought-after domains can range from hundreds to millions of dollars. Factors like brand relevance, length, keywords, and market demand play a role. For a business, investing more in a memorable, on-brand domain could pay off long-term. Always balance cost with strategic value.
