HI,

I have three websites with .net.au, .co.uk and .asia
The 3 have duplicate content on many pages for the same product.

Do I also have to geotarget in GSC, or them being ccTLD's is that enough?
Should I use hreflang?
Any other advise would be great.
Thanks

If same content using on different ccTLD like  then that won't be consider as duplicate content if you are targeting different countries. If two pages have the exact same content, Google won't want to show both to the searcher. They'll pick the most relevant one, or perhaps the one that Google has decided is the originator of the content and show that one.

When dealing with multiple websites targeting different countries, it is recommended to follow certain best practices to avoid duplicate content and ensure that search engines understand the targeted audience for each website. Here are a few recommendations:

1. Use ccTLDs: Having country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) like .net.au, .co.uk, and .asia is a good start, as search engines consider this as an indication of regional targeting.

2. Geotargeting in GSC: Google Search Console (GSC) allows you to specify the geographic target for each domain. Although having ccTLDs is usually sufficient, it's a good practice to set the geographic target in GSC as well to reinforce the targeting.

3. Hreflang Tags: Using hreflang tags is highly recommended when dealing with duplicate content across multiple language or regional versions of your website. Hreflang helps search engines understand which version of your page should be shown to users from specific regions or languages.

By implementing hreflang tags correctly, you can indicate to search engines that the duplicate content on different domains is intended for different regions. This can help prevent any potential issues related to duplicate content.

Additionally, here are a few more tips:
- Ensure that the content on different domains is truly relevant and useful to the targeted audience.
- Localize your content to cater to the specific needs and preferences of each region.
- Build local backlinks and citations to strengthen the regional relevance of each domain.
