I have learned from this site what is a link wheel. I have seen many a times about link pyramid especially it seen in freelancing site where employer is asking for link pyramid. Can anyone explain it to me, what is a link pyramid? I will be grateful.

In my point of view link pyramid is basically used to increase the rank of low websites. It works on the premise that the lowest quality sites link upwards to the next higher quality sites in your network. Sites can link laterally and upwards but not downwards.

I didnot know this and based on what I have understood.
example: 4 low quality link to each other plus they link to 3 more sites. all 4 sites linking to 7 sites.
now those 3 sites which are getting links from 4 sites link further to amongst themselves that is 3 and then they link to 1 more site which is the biggest. and then the one at the top is the eventual high PR site.

Does this count for the relevance of links coming through?
