Hi Guys

I am thinking to take down one of my old domain soon because of Google penalty on that, but want to use its content for a new fresh domain, as I have recently added fresh content on the website.
So, my question is, if I remove the complete content from old domain and add it to the new one, will Google count it as duplicate?

Can you guys share your experiences and suggestions in such situation?

Why are you using old website content as it is already stored in google database. I suggest you to write fresh content for your new website. But if you want to use your old content then first you need to remove that content from google database. But with old content there are less chances to get rank on SERP.

Another thing to keep in mind if you are switching hosts - do not change your primary domain! Otherwise, you will lose your emails for sure and will have to set up the emails all over again. That's what happened to me once. Luckily, my second switch of hosts was more successful I got great help and guidance from this host. They asked me to answer some questions beforehand to make sure that the migration will go smoothly and it worked .

As you already used those content on the old site, they must be crawled and indexed. So I advise not to use the same over the new domain. It will take few hours to create new contents so don't take the risk and write the new contents.

It all depends on the time until your old site and content were available. If the time has passed more than 6 months, then these pages most likely dropped out of the index and then the content can be reused. But first check it for uniqueness, not whether it was copied by someone :)
