There could be several reasons why the Google index of your website has reduced. Some possible reasons include:

1. Algorithm Updates: Google constantly updates its search algorithms, which can impact website rankings and indexing.

2. Content Issues: If there are issues with the quality or relevance of the content on your website, Google may reduce its indexing.

3. Technical Problems: Technical issues like server errors, page load speed, or broken links can negatively impact indexing.

4. Manual Actions: If Google determines that your website violates its guidelines, it may take manual action, resulting in reduced indexing.

5. Competitor Changes: If competing websites improve their content and SEO strategies, they may outrank yours, leading to reduced indexing.

To determine the exact reason for the decrease in indexing, it is recommended to analyze your website thoroughly, utilize SEO tools, and follow Google's guidelines.

Google index the pages where it find the meaningful information, searched more by visitors. And one need to make updation regularly with that page information for indexed regular. As google index process is going on and index pages with new information. So it is not like that once your page or site indexed then it stick their. No. One need to change it day by day.
