Jessie stricchiola

Jessie C. Stricchiola is a search engine optimization (SEO) expert, published author, and search engine marketing industry leader.

Stricchiola is an original co-founder of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) along with other founding members Barbara Coll, Kevin Lee, Dana Todd, Brett Tabke, Fredrick Marckini, and Noel McMichael. She held an elected seat on the Board of Directors for the organization for two years [1] while chairing the Membership Committee.

Stricchiola is recognized as having been one of the first to identify and publicly expose pay per click "click fraud" in 2001 [2], and her pioneering work on the subject was featured in Pulitzer Prize-winning author David A. Vise's book, The Google Story (1st edition) [3]. Numerous media outlets have covered her work on the subject of click fraud including the New York Times [4], CNN Money [5], Inc. Stricchiola is co-author of The Art of SEO [8] (O'Reilly Media), a book detailing the practice of search engine optimization. She has been a speaker at numerous internet industry conferences since 2002 including Search Engine Strategies, Danny Sullivan's Search Marketing Expo, WebmasterWorld's PubCon, and Ad:tech, and is the founder & CEO of Alchemist Media, Inc., a San Francisco based SEO & internet marketing company.
