Lanamark Suite is a virtualization sales and services automation software platform that enables solution providers to accelerate design and delivery of vendor-neutral desktop virtualization, server virtualization and storage solutions. It allows solution providers to collect hardware, software and performance data from desktops and servers. Once this data is collected, they can use the software to help customers determine which virtualization platform would be most appropriate for hosting virtualized desktops and servers. This process involves identifying candidates for virtualization, determining the most appropriate target servers and allocating virtual machines across those target servers to maximize performance and availability of application workloads. The most common virtualization platforms vendors are Citrix Systems, Microsoft, Oracle, Parallels and VMware.
